Beneath the surface of consciousness lies the deep, the unknown, the real.
In the deep waters of our subconscious live all manner of psychological phenomena. Up on the surface we may experience hurt, jealousy, desire, shame, elation, resentment, love… but these are just the visible tips of our subconscious icebergs.
Submerged beneath the surface are vast oceanic currents, mountains and life forms that profoundly influence how we show up in the world above. As we strive for perfect rationality, we find ourselves bound to powerful emotionality.
The path to self-realisation, healing and becoming requires us to dive deep into the unknown and explore what lies beneath the surface. Such a decision requires tremendous determination and courage. The journey is sure to be treacherous and will force us to confront the very things from which we have been trying to hide. But, if we're ready, it will lead us to freedom.
By journeying inwards we expand consciousness, foster rationality and transform emotion. As the water level drops, more and more of what lies beneath the surface is exposed. Gradually, as we see more and more, we gain the wisdom, strength and fortitude to put things right within ourselves. Terrifying battles are fought and won. Extraordinary discoveries lead us to incredible breakthroughs. And unimaginable levels of beauty open the hidden pathways to love.
To journey inwards is the ultimate rite of passage. Though it is described and facilitated in many ways, it transcends all dogma and leads only to our Self.
